I would strongly recommend making some tutorials before using it as a teaching resource. NI LabVIEW runs on various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS X, but mainly Windows), and can generate object code on these. However in LabView any reference to DAQmx is missing - I cannot read a task for example. LINX's source code hasn't been updated since last year ( GitHub - MakerHub/LINX: LabVIEW Community Edition LINX), so it might be abandoned.įor your group, I would say if someone spends enough time with LINX, it will work (or LIFA for that matter under old versions of LabVIEW).
